How do I disable the pop up functionality? I’ve deleted the containers and content but the blackout effect still shows up. Ive also tried putting the pop up into draft and private. Doesnt turn it off.

Thanks for your contact, To learn how to show/hide the popup in our theme please refer to this article: https://alpustheme.com/alpus/documentation/2022/12/16/popup-builder/ for a better reference to understand. I hope your issue will be resolved.

February 8, 2024 at 8:21 pm #8386Did you ever figure out how to get this rectified? I’m talking about the darkening of the screen and then having to click on the screen to move on. I thought it had something to do with the popup, as well. I delete the popup and I’m still having that issue.
February 8, 2024 at 8:23 pm #8387Aizaz, could you kindly go to https://kent21.sg-host.com/ to see what I’m talking about? The documentation link you provided doesn’t answer the question — unless I’m just missing it.
February 8, 2024 at 9:18 pm #8388Hello!
Yes I did figure it out.
Aplus > Layout Builder > Global Layout > General Settings > Toggle Pop Up
you might have to repeat the steps above on all layouts.
Cheers!

April 30, 2024 at 11:20 pm #8437Hi – long delay, I know. But this is a free website for a non profit, who are hard to reach so it has taken extra long time for building. In Alpus >> Layout Builder General settings, there is no pop up building to turn on or off. In Templates, there is no add popup either. Is there a stand alone component for the popup that we can install? It looks like it was there, and maybe corrupted so not showing in the back end. But you can see when the page loads, after a few seconds the screen goes darker as though the pop up is loading. I am thinking, if there is a stand alone install, perhaps we can reinstall it to fix the interface of it to actually turn it off in full? https://kent21.sg-host.com/
Alpus > Templates
Step 2 – Click ‘Add New’ button on top of page.
Step 3 – In New Alpus Builder Modal, select Popup Builder in “Template Type” field. And give your block’s name in “Template Name” field. << This does not exist.I just reenabled everything ALPus related and it still is not showing. (We had a lot of the woocommerce items off, because we don’t need woocommerce at this time)
How can we get rid of this ghost pop up happening? It will block release for us. Thank you!
